Day 154

Day 154 - closing out 2014 with the two men of my life! Had a great day with my family and am now relaxing together to ring in 2015! Happy New Year everyone! We wish you nothing but happiness in the future year!!

Days 148-153

Day 148 - Vegas Vacation Day One! Visited the Bellagio Conservatory! It was absolutely beautiful all decorated for Christmas!

Day 149 - Vegas Day Two! Breakfast at Hash House - always amazing food! Won $40 on a slot machine & explored the strip with my hubby!

Day 150 - Vegas Day 3! Crepes for breakfast at the Paris, Faberge exhibit at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Arts, drinks with dry ice & gummy worms at Sugar Factory & Luau dinner at Kahunaville! Oh, and won $80 on another slot! 

Day 151 - Vegas Day 4! Explored the Luxor & Mandalay Bay! Had a great time at the Ice Bar! Stopped by Hooters Casino to watch the Packers whoop Detroit AND got to see Mystere at Treasure Island! Great show & fabulous day! 

Day 152 - Vegas Day 5! Went to Fashion Show mall & hung out at the Lego store! After a fabulous lunch at the Mirage, I won another $20 on a slot! Then we explored the Monte Carlo & headed to NYNY for Zumanity! Fabulous day!

Day 153 - Last day in Vegas! Amazing breakfast at Guy Fieri's restaurant! Splurge treat of a Red Velvet Sundae at Serendipity 3 - so amazing! Last exploration of the Strip before flying home!

Day 147

Day 146 - amazing Christmas Eve dinner at Hayashi of sushi & replant steak with the family!! Now enjoying the holiday with a walk around Old Town!!

Day 145 - how does a girl in nursing school spend her first day of winter break?? She dyes her hair and paints her nails!! :-)

Day 144 - see this smile with the dimples??? This is my "I got a 100% on my Med-Surg final exam" smile!!! Ended this class with an A!! One more month done and 8 left!!!

Day 143

Day 143 - spent the day with some amazing people and shopped around town! Had an incredible fruit salad for lunch and Hubbs found a penguin shaped drink shaker! Too fun! Great day!!

Day 142 - celebrated Christmas in Santa Fe with the family and enjoyed the living nativity with the biggest camel I've ever seen!!! Great day!!

Day 140 - OMG totally forgot to post this last night! So here's my yesterday - studying for finals, won River of Lights tickets, happily paid $1.97/gallon to fill up my car & had a fabulous furry study buddy!

Day 139 - beautiful snowy weather this morning! Now time to study for finals and enjoy my fabulous Gluten Free lasagna for dinner!! Thanks so much Stephanie Briggs!!

Day 138 - wrapped up my first month of med-surg clinicals today! Anyone who thinks nursing is glamorous is gravely mistaken - I definitely look like a wreck after a day in the hospital!

Day 137 - this is gonna be my view for the next week! 7 days until finals!! I can do this!!

Day 136 - after a long and busy weekend, kitty has the right idea! It's time to be lazy & enjoy our little Christmas tree!

Day 135 - fabulous Christmas celebration in Santa Fe with the family!!! Great people, great food! Awesome day!!!

Day 134 - fabulous date day with the Hubbs at Dave & Busters!! We also got to meet our wonderful new friends at Gluten Free Rio Rancho & got cupcakes!! Everyone go visit them & buy some of their yummy food - it's all gluten free!! I'm thrilled that there's a safe place to eat so close to home!!

Day 133 - great sprint workout this morning, lots of homework today, snuggly kitties and got some bullshit in the mail today!! What a great Thursday!!

Day 132 - Hastings had a sale today!! All used DVDs were only $3.99!! Yeah....We stocked up!! I'm predicting a movie marathon is in our future!!

Day 131 - today was a rough day, but tacos and Cards with friends makes things easier :-)

Day 130 - more homework, fabulous chili soup for dinner and kitties make wonderful pillows!! Happy Monday!!

Day 129 - great interval workout this morning, flapjacks from Flying Star for breakfast, knocked out a research paper and a concept map, and now am getting ahead on my reading for Med Surg class! I feel like I was a good student today!

Day 128 - lazy morning with snuggly kitties, salad for lunch with the family and now Cards Against Humanity with great peeps! Happy Saturday!

Day 127 - fabulous workout and now I'm getting crafty with Christmas goodies!! Great day!!

Day 125 - tried the new gluten free bread from Schlotzky's tonight for dinner! It was good and the kitty enjoyed the lettuce :-)

Day 124 - it's "water only" day #2 and I had dreams about coffee last night! I'm missing my caffeine today! But I made healthy 80 calorie egg white muffins this morning and now am off to a new clinical site! Good times!

Day 123 - survived my first day of "water only" and had a beautiful view on the drive home! Happy first day of December!

Day 122 - great Sprint workout this morning and afternoon shopping with the family! Now being lazy with a snuggly kitty before class starts again tomorrow :-)

Day 120 - fabulous day in Santa Fe with Hubbs, mommy, Caitlin and Becky Josey!! Awesome food and finally got to see Mockingjay!! Now on the Rail Runner heading home!!

Day 118 - got some good Sprint intervals done this morning while watching one of my favorite movies!! Bad llama!

Day 117 - so I decided to try this "cat trap" thing that's going around Facebook...after about 4 hours, she's only stared at it once and then completely ignored it. This seems like a fail to me

Day 116 - made an incredible green chile chicken enchilada soup for dinner! Perfect for this windy, nasty weather!!

Day 115 - after a great workout, Hubbs and I had a great Flying Star breakfast and now we are enjoying a lazy Sunday watching "A Million Ways to Die in the West"! Love this movie!
